can fix it yourself, Search for videos of dismantling headphones, buy a NiMH charger with battery activation repair function, connect the battery to the charger with a wire, Use the battery repair activation function to repair battery errors

Worked great the first year, but now can't hold a charge, only lasting maybe an hour. Each time I plug it in, the red charging light only stays on for a few seconds. Any ideas how to fix?

AKG Y50 BT - I seem to be only able to have my headphones paired in an a hands free mode and can't change the settings. The sound is therefore not very good. When paired with my iphone they are fine, but with my PC Windows 10 they do not work. Any help

Hi, I have plenty of battery left and the headphones never had a problem. Now: I tried to pair to PC it but forgot the button for it. I started pressing them one by one for a few seconds. I can't get it to turn on now (still charges and work with cable).

The power on/BT pairing button is in the middle of the 2.5mm input and led light indicator on the right earcup of our AKG Y50BT.

I suspect this must be some kind of internal sleep mode, and that for some reason, it is not able to determine that a call is occurring. I find it odd that with this post being so prominent, that AKG has not responded on this very disturbing issue.

Unfortunately, there is no reset option with this headphone. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds which is located on the right side of the headphone.
